Emily and I were so excited to meet up with Blaine and Ava Thomas today! Despite the brutal 100+ degree temps, Blaine & I packed up the girls and headed to the beach. In theory it was a much better idea than in reality...it was 110 degrees in the shade of our umbrella! The girls were a bit miserable, as were the moms, if we were out of the water for any length of time. So after braving the heat for a little over an hour we headed home for some a/c and lunch. It was so great to catch up with Blaine and to finally meet Ava. She is such a beautiful & happy baby. Looking forward to a "Mom's Night Out" with Blaine tomorrow :)
