I was so happy to finally get a chance to spend time with my friend Aimee yesterday. Aimee returned from 2 years in Japan last month, has left military life, and moved to Ft. Myers where she started her new job. We first met and became friends as Ensigns, working Labor & Delivery in Bethesda many moons ago. We also had many fun times together while living in Pensacola. When she left for Japan, Emily was only a couple of months old...so imagine her surprise when she saw her yesterday and saw what a big girl she is. And now she also had the added bonus of meeting new little Stephen :) We enjoyed a nice evening out in West Palm Beach, eating at the Cheesecake Factory and catching up on old and new gossip!
I am so excited that Aimee has moved to South FL and am looking forward to many more good times...in yet another new place :)
