Steve and I took Emily to see Elmo Live for her birthday. She was joined by her grandparents and cousin Caden for the big show. We had great seats: Not to close to be scared and not too far that the kids had a hard time seeing. When the show first started and Elmo came on stage, Emily buried her head in my lap. I pulled her on to my lap where she then watched and trembled with excitement. Whenever Elmo would leave the stage for a moment she would ask, "Where'd he go?". Then as soon as he returned she'd say, pointing, "There he is!". It was so cute to watch her and experience all the excitement through her eyes.
