No baby yet! After a morning of walking at the mall (lots of contractions!) we spent the evening of the Fourth celebrating with some good food and fireworks. We had considered taking out the boat, but the rainy weather (and concerns about labor) kept our feet planted firmly on land. Emily experienced a few firsts: hot dogs and fireworks! Because of the rain, we decided to watch the fireworks over at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where we could stay under the shelter of the back of the Tahoe but still be close enough to experience all the sights and sounds. Just as the fireworks started, the rain stopped and we were able to step out and enjoy the view. Emily loved the "fires" and was not even phased by the noise...and we were only about 200 yds from where they were launching them!
So, what now? We will just (patiently as possible) wait and see when this little one decides to join us :)
